So this was Justice's first time meeting Santa and it went just as I expected.....she was completely terrified. We went to Bass Pro Shop tonight and they have a wonderful set up there. Santa was a good sport and suggested for Justice to sit on my lap for our second try to see if that helped....it didn't!! Sandra, my mother in law, had heard that tonight was the last night to see Santa so we went on the perfect night since the weekends are busy. We only waited for a little girl in front of us and that was it!!! It was perfect...minus the end results for the pictures!!! But it will be interesting to see how every year will go!
Wow, she did okay to stay there and not try and squirm out at least. They will get better every year. But these photos are just priceless.
ReplyDeleteAnd just an FYI, Santa is there till the 24th of December. Every night. Incase anyone else is wondering. And the Mall will not be having a Santa.
Mon-Fri 5-8pm
Sat 10am-9pm
Sund noon-5pm
And no need to worry about it being busy. Should there be a longer wait than 1/2 hour, they have a speed pass type system where they will give you a card a scheduled time that you can come back so you don't have to stand in line.
Oh thanks for clearifying cuz I had said to Sandra that you hadn't mentioned a "time limit" for the evening photos!! Good to know cuz lots of people enjoyed the background in the photos!

ReplyDeleteThe red face sure didn't take long as soon as she saw me walk away! She sure didn't care for him at all. I put up some window stickers of Santa and she talks to him and says "HoHoHo!" which is cute...so I know that it will get better.
